Introduction
Hello! My name is Barron Wesenberg, and welcome to my website! I created this to share more about who I am and what I have experienced. I believe that all growth comes from challenging goals, and the determination it takes to keep learning. This site should give you a deeper look into my background, as well as my interests and the path I want to take in a future career!
Where I am From & My Background
I grew up in the Bay Area where I created a strong sense of independence and determination through my experiences. I developed a strong appreciation for the natural world through admiring the beauty that surrounded me in California. Throughout my life I have learned how valuable hard-work and perseverance is. All of these experiences have and will continue to shape how I approach new challenges.
Education
I am currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno, where I am working toward earning my Bachelor of Science in Biology. My studies are focusing on developing critical thinking as well as furthering my scientific understanding. Before this, I attended Las Positas Community College, where I met many valuable friends. I chose to attend college due to my want to expand my personal knowledge, as well as challenge myself academically.
Work Experience
In addition to my academic life, I have gained valuable experience through work. I am employed full time as a General Manager at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where I continue to develop my leadership and organizational skills. This experience has taught me how to work under pressure, as well as communicate effectively.
Interests & Hobbies
Outside of school and work I enjoy anything outdoors. Growing up near the beach I loved to surf and boogie board. Being in Nevada now I have a renewed appreciation for hiking and taking my dog out for long walks. I also enjoy working on personal projects and continuing to grow intellectually.
Career Interests
Looking forward, I am interested in pursuing a career as a Physicians Assistant. While I have always been interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, my overall goal is to build a career that allows me to continue learning, solve complex problems, and contribute something meaningful to the world around me.
